Final chemistry lab today! Not sure if i should be feeling happy that it is finally over or should I feel sad. I really love the vibrancy along my bench! How we managed to work through the experiment even though most of the time we have no idea what we are doing=) this is the POWER of COLLABORATION and KNOWLEDGE sharing. Each of us only needs to know a little. hee.. I mean.. if it works, then why not?! haha.. thing is, more and more people from other benches actually came over to ask stuff and just chat=) people from my bench said that its because of my hyperactivity. But I would prefer to think that its because people around me are all nice people! A big group of 12 people.
Got to know the name of my super helpful, never pissed off TA. Fang Zhan Xiong. haha.. the power of the feedback form. I wouldn't be daring enough to go and ask: hey, whats ur name huh? haha.. hey.. TA, thanks for being great and making my last memories of chemistry labs so so so positive=D Hope you get the teaching award!
oh. and i managed to oxidize my fingers today. Not even sure who is the culprit. potassium iodide? permaganate? well, no idea.. added alot of stuff today. so my fingers looks like that now:
hee. Got a very nice silver mirror for Tollen's Test. Even the TA says that the mirror I got is zai. hee.
Had a realisation that friends like to appear from behind me. Or am I just so blind that I never ever sense them approaching? Yong Kai calls me by tapping my head. Daniel by my arm. Guan Qun by the shoulders. I must be blind!
Whats more. Many people have highlighted the unique characrteristic of my voice that allows them to identify me from far far away. Mr Gabby Tan (sec 4 form teacher) said that he could hear me (word for word) from across the entire corridor. May Ee will know it when ever Im entering the toilet (happen to go to the same toilet as her). Daniel said that he could hear me when im like.. still high high up a flight of stairs. I absolutely refuse to acknowledge any other reasons other than my UNIQUE voice that is super 响. or perhaps if you die die want me to quote another reason: I know how to 千里传音=D Seriously, sometimes, I'm not the one talking the most (Miao) and my voice is not the loudest (Wen in terms of amplitude). BUT, why on earth does everyone say that they can only hear me?!
Had mee siam for dinner. haha.. the exciting part was when I was ordering it. I was kind of in a daze and so I accidentally said: mee siam, 'ga-si satu ber-ger-del'. AND the store owner actually replied to me in Malay! My guess is that she asked if I want my 'ber-ger-del' added into the mee siam gravy. hee. Rule of thumb.When in doubt, just nod. haha.. So exciting right?!
Wah. Im missing Taiwan again. Saw a few scenes from the re-broadcasted 西街少年 at the coffee shop just now. 西门町looks exactly like how it did when I was there in early May! Love that place loads!
Today was a happy day! Let the happiness continue!
