Finally . The long awaited PD treat! PD aka project director.

A jap restaurant at Raffles City: Shokudo or something to that extent. I would say that the price of the food there is pretty 大众化, serving dishes from sashimi to udon to all the terrikayi and desserts and omelette and pasta etc etc. There is ALOT of food. Like the cheesecake over there that da bai recommended. haha.. When it comes to food, i believe in his taste. We like about the same things!

I really missed the crazy times that we spent together. I mean it. Making really stupid mistakes, laughing at one another, surviving the nights, the colds and overdosage of Subways together. So single-minded and focus. Simple and expressive people. My heartfelt gratitude for brightening up my life!

Of course, im sure I brighten up all of yours too=D

Its been a really long day/week/holidays/whatever you call it. But I promise to make good use of tomorrow to sleep and rest! Currently located at the Energy Valley. I long to enter the activated state again.

My energy levels are distributed into:

activated complex --- high energy (complex because people dunno why m i so high)

ground state--- my normal floating state (despite chemist claiming that ground state is the lowest energy level, I do believe in 'underground'=p)

Zombified--- my current state

I cant concentrate.

Neither good nor really bad.
Can I just get rid of this sense of indifference and start putting in some effort instead of playing the game of floating around?! Need to knock some sense into myself!
My engine CAP dropped. My business CAP improved. They level up.
And I havent yet broke free from the satu-B-curse.
sigh.
At least it is still reasonable enough for me to decide to go ahead with California. And if I don't learn how to take care of myself and cui when I come back, i'll just give myself one big slap to wake up.

Ich habe weird friends.

Yesterday, Wir essen zu BrotZeit? eh.. not sure if that is correct grammatically or whatsoever. haha.. cant really remember my stuff but im still better than Glad who has forgotten EVERYTHING~

eh.. you pay for good food, good drinks, nicer tasting beer and maybe the better ambience.haha... glad just about spent $40 on her meal of... i cant remember the name. But is some sort of boiled beef that is the first non-bloody one that I have seen her eat. haha.. she used to always get the raw kind even if she orders the cooked ones! haha..

Gotta comment on the potatoes that they serve. Especially love wedges=)

hmm.. And of course, the westerner waiters with their blue eyes are really mesmerising. haha.. they look like they walked out of the movies (quoting from glad).

Black and I had some dory thingie. I also ordered apfelschurrie which is really just our zappel la. apple juice mixed with sparling mineral water. haha.. not very exciting huh? but in comparison to the NOOB who ordered cranberry juice, i think mine is better.

haha.. black was sporting a chao-ah-beng-hairstyle that really really... bleahz. he said: 丑，说一次就好. but its really chou chou chou! =D

And of course, dessert! chocolate walnut cheesecake from Cedele. haha.. hmm.. quite like it and it is not too heaty. so thats still fine. The best part is that black made the waitress blush. Flirtatious pig. haha.. We all shared that slice of cake and its black's treat! Hey Blackie! Cheer up yea. She is missing you as well. And I meant what I said yesterday. Don't you dare to try!

and Glad. We should really stop going for sucky things together and increase the frequency of such normal and pleasant trips out=) watch your wallet!

Anyway, I had a nightmare last night. Non-results related though. Its more of a safety kinda issue on my part. hmm.. I better start being careful! IT left me chilly and nuah in the morning.

Its a happy thing to go out with a nice friend who you can talk just about almost everything under the sun. Its even better that the nice friend is absolutely funny and dumb at times.
This is weird because you are gonna read what I type sooner or later. But yup. hahah.. not too afraid of your non-life-threatening punches. haha.. meow. Cat's claws.
Before I go into all the funny little things, just like to comment on the fish baked rice over at swensons. haha.. you know, some of the buffets serve that sort of fish. Kinda like the creamy and cheesey taste of the fish.. remembered that i ate something vaguely similar for my sec4 graduation buffet. haha..=D but he was having flu. I doubt he can taste anything. He should seriously just order the cheapest thing on the menu la.
I said: When I worked in Isetan last time, I used to hug the manniquins when im feeling tired.
He said: Feels so different from you right?
I said: Yea!
He said: *pointing to a manniquin* If you become like that, 我马上追你.
I opened my mouth to say something.
He interrupted: But thats not a motivation for you right?
I was thinking: omg. He knows what im thinking.
I said: Yea.
He said: 不然这样， 你再胖一点的话，我马上追你。这样够Motivation了吗？

Dreams

Yesterday attempted at watching the opening water performance for the arts festival.. this group from france and all that. The conclusion? It takes knowing aerobics to be able to watch it in peace. haha.. so crowded. people are climbing onto whatever that they can find. haha.. there was even this group of people ho climbed onto a lorry... that im pretty sure, does not belong to them. haha.. not sure if thats legal but yup... since its not my lorry..=D

Gong Gong's bday was celebrated at this restaurant at bedok. Met most of my paternal relatives finally. haha.. My cousin is getting married end of the year. I like the way my gong gong sounds on the phone. Always so happy to hear our voice and he will laugh laugh laugh into the phone. BTW, Im NOT Melissa. haha.. this cousin that I have been reputed to look alike with ever since I was a kid. haha..
Been dreaming alot. Maybe that accounts for why i feel so tired on a sunday. haha.. how's dreaming about a same person for 2 nights? eh.. pretty freaky. HAHA.. anyway, the dreams are kinda pleasant but impossible and also, the setting renders them completely... untrustworthy. haha.. I used to dream alot. Many of which I cant remember. And those eventually came true. Since I can remember enough, this one of those fake ones again. haha.. i'll seriously be shock if i dream the same person again tonight. haha.. probably scare me into half-shock state. hee..

My colleague is kinda lucky recently and have been treating breakfast and lunches. so I have been eating 2 sets of breakfast every morning (i eat at home and eat at work). Luckily there is an endless pit in the company for me to stuff all the extras. haha..

Yipee~~ nice rest because of this Vesak day holidays! haha.. you have no idea how much I appreciate this rest!
And.. GUESS WAT??
I found a friend to visit the museum with me! Or rather, she found me=)
haha.. NUS Students! make use of the privilege! Free admission to the singapore art museum. For sotongs like me who cant really differentiate the museums, its the one near bras basah/cityhall/dhoby ghaut/opp SMU, beside the POSB.
hee. the main exhibit was that of Xu Bei Hong. Chinese painting and stuff. hmm.. From the perspective of a layman, I would say that his portraits are.. good! haha.. There was this family portrait that i saw.. the little boy looks like he is half-looking at you. Thats not easy to achieve ok? He likes to make use of vague strokes and mild colour shades to depict the form of the subject of the picture, or maybe the background. What I specifically remembered was the snow mountain in the background and the snow on the twigs. And there was this 'bee' that he painted along with a scene of autumn leaves. It looked printed! Computers cant do a better job! Really! Its really rare to see depiction of the autumn maple leaves in chinese paintings.. they generally favour spring and sometimes the cool winter. So it was kinda a pleasant surprise=) Also, there were several apintings that made use of GREEN. It caught my eye... something different from the grey black and white generally employed. Of course, there were also the common.. horses, magpies, calligraphy, FRIENDLY eagles (they do not look threatening at all).
Xu Bei Hong seriously led a colourful life. Having travelled to France, Germany, India and many more places. Seriously.. to make it so far, he must have been really lucky!
haha.. im not an arts person and as JY has pointed out, do not have the artistic flair. hmm.. but yup. indulge and immerse in arts once in a while to strike the balance!

Zwester Jahre

Concluded the 2nd week of the holidays with a mini holidays ahead=) hee.. finally free to do some typing on my blog!
Looking back on my 2nd year in NUS, I can say that it has been colourful, eventful and maybe a little more stressful. Im not complaining about the stress because I kinda felt very detached from my life in general. haha.. the stress just didnt register.
First step: Joined PRU and organised FLV, had fun and made alot of new friends. Stayed over in school, ate korean cup noodles, blew a couple hundred of balloons, liaising with suppliers, endless phonecalls.. i miss that sense of purpose that I do not find when im studying=p
By chance or fate or whatever you call it, accidentally joined the logistics team for BIOBIZ. Shopping for speakers' gift, wearing heels that hurt like crazy. Adding to this was the chance to eat at Fullerton, experience fine dining, getting a blazar, meeting the sai-kang warriors who I still think are super funny.
Not mentioning having completed the 5.5 modules that I still have no idea what is going on and im going to be in a bad mood this friday. so do not talk to me!
Applied and got an internship at International Scientific Pte Ltd, where im still doing the internal auditing. Been there for.. 1.5 weeks so far. Thought that the people that I met there are by far very simple people who can be absolutely hilarious at times. Mary and Tang Nee always sound so excited when they are together. SY is an advocate for independent learning. Julie and Rebecca shared very funny travelling experiences. Ms Lee has been accompanying us for lunch and offering to buy 'jiam-tao-roti' for me if i want to eat curry chicken. Then there is Jennifer who said that YF looks like Andy Lau *laughs*, Mr Chuah who I confirm-plus-chop have been very handsome in his younger days, Mas who always been helpful when Im checking on her stuff and there is also Mr Tan, Richard, Mr Chang, Daud, SS (whom i nv saw). Thanks everyone for being patient with me=) Im glad that no one has screamed at me yet! =D
And of cos, there is my SEP that I spent alot of time on, meeting the deadlines stipulated by the department in the handing up of documents and plans. Still abit stressed about the finances, but i think that can be worked out! And Lawr and ai yun are actually quite nice to me=p Having some difficulties in kicking the inferiority thoughts though!
Lastly, there is this courage for me to pick up Ballroom dancing. haha.. even I want to laugh. Look across the dance floor for all those pretty girls moving in a rather.. eh.... sensual manner? haha.. im talking about the pros. But never mind. I have yet to fall down on the floor *touching wood*. Work HARD at improving my hand-eye-leg-coordination!

Friends, I thought of u all during breakfast this morning=)

In.. out? Left-Right??!! Happily confused=)

Been just busy with work and all the ISO auditing, plus the piling SEP stuff to do. As usual, very happy during lunch hours! Food! Sleeping alot recently as well=)
Joined Ballroom dancing course! *laughs* er-hmm.. u are so NOT supposed to laugh even though I more or less tripped over myself, lost track on the beat, did entirely wrong steps, and in general, making a fool of myself=) It was damn fun k? I never knew I could balance on 2.5in dancing shoes. My pinkies are suffering from what is known as the cut-off-blood-supply syndrome. hee. Im serious when I say it was fun! FUN! haha.. gotta have to internalise the steps so that the guys will not feel offended (I kept looking at other couples' feet=p) oops* HAHA.. its the first lesson! Im sure thats fine! looking forward to the next lesson on saturday already. Stretching my calves to prevent aching!
Oh ya. Im learning jive and tango by the way=)

Wk1 Hols

For friends who were concerned. Thanks. yup. I think I have temporarily gotten over my emo-tication syndrome. heh. everyone is entitled to be emo once in a while yea! Even though I don't really show it on the outside.
hmm.. let me just back date everything that happened but wasnt recorded=p
eh. exams finally ended on the 5th may. Sandi gave us a treat at this Burmese restaurant at peninsular plaza. But because I happen to be veg on that day, only tried the dessert and this side dish. I can som-ba that they are really nice! This fried beany flavoured finger food. I love it so much despite Glad and PJ not really enjoying it. ITS NICE OK~ hee. and who knows that Burnese Chendol has bread inside? as in real-macham-gardenia-kinda-bread eh! haha.. soak up the dessert making it really really nice. Im a Mian Bao Chao Ren!!
We also went on to take a walk at esplanade. heh. perfect for people like us who has such an artistic flair. There is a mini-exhibit of chinese paintings inside but photos not allowed.
The next day was a day of swimming with wen, intermittent tuition and shopping with miao and wen. ha. There was this group of men from Zimbawee. hmm.. can I say that they are so friendly that we kinda got scared by them at the swimming pool? haha.. if that is considered as 搭讪, then I rather not have it. RUN AWAY with what you are worth!! Both wen and miao turned up unanimously in very pretty dresses. hmm.. my 21st yea. even if im not in spore.
The 7th was declared as another SEP day. School~ Housing is applied for. But my visa application is very lag because I was pretty busy.
And work started on the 8th. Doing ISO audit for the company. Been reading so many manuals, procedures, work instruction and etc etc. Technically, i am certified alr=p Still abit lost but not as lost as when I just went to work. hee.

Btw, realised that I never blogged about the day when we cele Glad's bday outside. hee. the cake is an ice cream. haha.. i wanted the ice cream to melt. but they too fast liao. Was absent for glad's party. Glad said that Im the missing head quarters. A pat on my shoulders for my brilliant spark of creativity. hee. I created an email add for glad: to_gladys@yahoo.com. And I sent all the collated wishes to the email and got Black to pass her the User ID and password. Black said its macham give Car keys like that=)
