This entry comes as an uber belated one, one entire month post Chinese New Year. But well... I came across these photos and was reminded of my little cheeky happiness. Happy Chinese New Year everyone. I am however, kind of concerned about having to turn 24 end of this year because I clearly remember that when I was 12, and my cousin was 24, I was there thinking to myself "How come my cousin sounds so old". Must have slipped my mind that I will have to turn 24 one day too huh.
But wells. TADAAAA.. see my hand drawn cards below~ I am somehow damn proud of my doodling! These are not all of course.. some of the pictures are missing in action.
Anyway, for the new year, my wish is to stay healthy and fit, engage my mind by learning a language/doing CFA, save up for MBA program and... learn from my mistakes in the past years so as not to do hurting things again! Tan Wei Ling shall become a sophisticated female with substance:)

Data Profiling
I think I must have been surprised, that there are people out there, who categorizes their friends into "Profile-groups", meaning "xxxx is high profile, yyyy is low profile. I think high profile people knows high profile people while low profile ones know only low profile ones". I didn't find the need to argue, but I thought to myself that this seemed contrary to the very definition of being 'high profile'.
High profile people are to be known by ALL people while low profile ones are known only to their own circle. And therefore, the point is that a high profile person cannot be high profile only because he thinks he is-- and 'blame' the others for being too low profile to not know him--because that just shows that he is clearly not high profile enough.
That aside, I am just shocked at anyone even categorizing others based on their profiles because I guess there are characters out there who are more discerning about friendship. I am not the most "high profile" person that I have known, but I am very proud of my friends, of the friends that they have made and of the life they are carving out for themselves.
Each to his own I guess.
