Jumped

The thing about professors providing a 'coursework outline' right from the start of the semester is that students tend to forget that there are assignmentSS pending submission in the following week. got JUMPED by the professor. Booby traps all over the place just waiting for blur spiders to fall in. Luckily i checked the coursework today: ich bin spider nicht! ich bin eine schwein. hee. But spider or not, im stuck with 2 assignments that I just found out about, plus my lab report due next week (though I really love the labs, with friendly fellow lab mates and the extremely helpful lab tech=D) AND the piles of tutorials that the engine prof heartlessly piled on my helpless self! HAHA.. sounds like im very much the 受害者right? hahaa.. hmm.. I solemnly swear that everything i said above is true! haha..=p
Considering SEP from the biz side now.. that is if im still in the DDP by Yr3 Sem2. probably not. but then we live to look forward right?! so let me have a small dream. haha... anyway, think its more feasible than going from the engine side where the mapping is like 'WTh'. hmm.. thinking thinking.
A KIND friend Mr. Mehz offered to climb 258 steps n pray for me to the great Buddha since he will be going to HONGKONG as of the day my exams START and will probably be back BEFORE my exams can end. But thats for a nominal fee, or so he claims. He better do it FOC for me! Mr Mehz, u hear me?!
Exams are approaching. I can FEEL it coming but right now is still not the time to start revsing yet. Probably forget everything before the exam. But for friends out there who are starting/have started, Gambate! It'll be over in a blink.

Now u see it, now u don't

Had always wondered where does the milo truck at the central forum comes from. Last i heard, it will come whenever it was ordered. Free? or not? haha.. Residents of Eusoff Hall are a clever batch. haha.. the long lost Milo truck was once again FOUND. Wondered why so many bazaars choose to forego it since it really does attract crowd. well.. maybe they should think of how they can put the truck in the middle of the forum. haha..most people are attracted to the truck and ONLY the truck.
Met a project mate 2days back at biz canteen. I thought that he had been ponning lectures since I havent seen him since the start of the sem (well, too much assumptions on my part). You see, its hard to miss him since he is a very cheerful and friendly person who will say hi to everyone that he knows even if they're like quite far away. Great Personality. ZERO dao-ness. haha.. in the end, it seems like 3 years of chem engine in poly and 1 year in NUS is enough for him. Its Biz for him now. Think it'll suit him well. All the best!!

Im Starving...

Today had been a busy day. It was lessons, 'shopping', 'meeting' and last min chiong-ing of stuff.
Haha.. show cased our MNO video to the class today. Sense of satisfaction when I hear people actually laughing at the video. NOT because our video is dumb or anything, but rather, because of the little surprises that we plant throughout the video. you see, it feels good to be able to predict where people will laugh: it means that you r really funny.
Some would have wondered: Shopping in the middle of busy schedule? Seems WRONG. haha.. well, we (FLV MKT comm) are jus very good at making FULL use of time. Actually, the objective of the trip was to gather contacts for fashion labels. haha.. thanks to da bai, we had an easy day. As I say, asking for contacts is the forte of guys and well, he succeeded 90% of the time. The only rejection(the last attempt) was by A GUY. you do see why guys have to do such marketing stuff. Most of the time: girls find it harder to reject a guy than a girl.
But still, maybe I could have been more proactive. Time to reflect.
Am very hungry now: dinner was one old chang kee currypuff.. like 6 hrs ago? had 10min to dabao dinner to the meeting=) nvm.. breakfast is in 6hrs' time.
Dad cooked dory fillet (at least that was what I THINK it is) yesterday. It suddenly struck me that I havent an inkling as to how a Dory looked like. so i went to google for a small search:
It turned out that dory appeared in Finding Nemo as the blue fish. I had ALWAYS thought that that type of fish is inedible. well.. hee..
oh.. a note to add. anyone has any idea why girls are less tolerant of the cold? my guess is lower metabolic rate. but then, girls have more fats which is supposed to be insulating. It was a freezing shopping and travelling trip for all the 4 of us (Karen, Mindy, Kathryn and me). I can understand if they are cold. but me?!

Surprise

I was uncertain. Was the Darren reflected on my handphone the Darren that I think he is? heh.. was a little surprised that a classmate from the 1st three months of my JC life actually sms-ed me today. Well, after the first 3 months, he was uprooted and shifted to another class, along with 2 other geniuses. And well, Darren is of course one of the geniuses too. haha.. we havent contacted each other since.. since.. after A'levels? Thats a long time! and guess what, we'll probably be seeing alot of each other next time since he is coming the NUS Chem engine as well=) can I say that I'm lucky not to be in the same batch as him? haha..
Second surprise of the day: my very entertaining tuition kid asked me for extra practice questions for binomial theorem. AND he managed to come up with the method for solving this particular type of question for arithmetic and geometric series=) haha.. regarding the practice questions, needless to say, I emailed him a page of questions on binomial theorem AND LOGARITHM AND QUADRATIC EQUATIONS. we do need to make full use of opportunities that come our way yea=D
Note: Contrary to belief that im a very 变态 tuition teacher, I only sent him like 20 questions.
Well.. and for the not so pleasant surprise.. was followed by a weird guy today for a short while. He was like: hello hello excuse me excuse me. and when i looked at him, he was quiet. anyway, I took out my handphone and replied Darren's sms=) successfully ignoring him all the way till we parted at the MRT station. HAHA. Im a pro huh.
p.s I'm starting to take photo of food to tempt my older bro with. hee. sent him a pic of the ah pek carrot cake yesterday through msn. He laughed.
okie.. gonna get down to work. have proposalSSS to send. haha.. and well, comics to read and 甜孙爷爷 (recorded) to watch before tomorrow comes=)

Coincidence

I swear im NOT trying to copy.
Just realised that my older bro uses the same blogskin as me. and well, i stupidly, accidentally choose the same template as him=) lets just leave it at the GREAT MINDs Think alike mentality yea.. havent figured out 'blogs' enough to do anything happening to mine. mayb he can change his instead=D
Was in a small little dilemma this morning: will I seem too enthusiastic about blogging if I update it again today. But Im in quite a good mood now. Apparently for no reason again. No wonder Glad n PJ thinks im every good at 自high-ing. Just gonna pen down something to commemorate a happy day=)
Cant seem to stop thinking about 恶作剧之吻。haha.. was stuck on the taiwan version before I turned nostalgic and went hunting for the jap version that I watched when I was in Sec 2. haha.. how crazy Joanne and I were over the male lead last time. He was the cause of my one and only unpleasant encounter with a Librarain (was caught laughing too loudly in the lib). haha.. and right now, I have re-watched the whole series 7 times. u see, the good thing about jap dramas is that they are really short. I could have finish the drama 7 times in.. well, a couple of days, if tudou isnt SOOO slow.
Had 'ah pek carrot cake' this morning for breakfast. Thanks to the rain, the queue was considerably shorter than usual. A fantastic way to start off a day=D
I believe that people do not need a very happening life to feel happy. Little things counts ya=)

Inspired

Thought of starting a blog since.. well, thats NOT important since it was all words but no actions. Finally, after visiting Miao's blog and realising that her p4 cousin has a blog. hmm.. time for some reflection isnt it?
As an intro, in case some of you still dont know what is 'ich bin gluckSchwein', it really means 'I am LuckyPig'. haha.. germans think that pig symbolises luck. Well, the lucky portion originates from Miao back in my JC days while the PIG portion dates back to the ancient times when I was in.. p6?
Hee.. life has been pretty fun recently. Doesnt feel like im wasting my days away anymore=) which is GREAT! haha.. having this sense of purpose in life. Oh. I just realised that Chemical Engineering is quite fun actually. haha.. not gonna live to regret my choice ya! Psycho-ing actually WORKS!
Been busy with school as usual. Finally did what I always wanted to do.. haha.. which is to join a CCA in uni. Life is REAlly boring without one. Special thanks goes to Gladys, Giles, Da Bai, Zhi Hui for giving me a chance and to Pei Jie and MeiQi for accompanying me through this.. eh.. transition state?
Well, basically I joined the Public Relations Unit(PRU). and since this is not an official PRU website, I shall not explain what its about. Was doing some marketing stuff for an event. haha.. something really funny happened.
Cute MINDY! In her attempt to contact GUESS, she called this auntie who asked if she could speak Chinese. 我是从NUS打来的，要找MARKETING DEPT. Turned out that the auntie know nuts about what she was talking about. After some time, it finally occurred to Mindy to ask 请问这里是Suntec Mall的 GUESS 吗？
Just two days ago, I was in the Science Lib. What I found very amusing was this: Fire Drill. Well.. my bag got stuck in the Lib as I was forced to evacuate the grounds. Managed to make a grab for my labtop, phone and wallet. Well, at least Grace was as suay as me. HAHA.. she was in the lib too!
Lastly, MNO video project is finally going to be something of the past! Not that I did not enjoy the groupwork. On the contrary, my group is GREAT. haha.. we have like ZERO conflicts? A chatty, outgoing, friendly, vibrant group. haha.. but I would rather be the one to plan our next outing/kbox/dinner rather than meetings in Biz Canteen round table or on MSN. haha.. Love you guys!
Will continue to eh.. strive to keep away from youtube and crunchyroll. Currently using Tudou instead. Advantage: it takes forever to load videos. Spoils whatever mood you have to watch videos. Excellent choice for someone who have low discipline and high inertia.
hee. Will post again when I feel like it=)
