怪怪
我是个奇怪的人。
常听别人说：越是得不到的东西，你就会越想得到。
最起码，电视上的坏女人总是这么说。
所以， 对于自己那想一探别人所不知的八卦，看别人所看不到的景色，却不是为了得到，而不过是想在回忆里留下：‘苇琳到此一游 ’的这种个性，有时还真不知道该以什么态度来面对。
记得高中时期，曾有一度想进警察局，让警察带我进去参观。 只因警局总是蒙着层神秘的面纱。
更记得去年在百货公司当售货员时，曾因员工入口处明白的写着：‘闲人止步 ’而开心了好一阵子-我去了别人进不去的地方哦！
很奇怪吧！
我还曾对成为拷古学家有性趣呢！但本人胆小怕‘———— ’， 所以根本想都不必想！
朋友建议：你去当小偷啦！每天去别人家，都会让你暗爽！
今天突然灵光一闪， 没错！就是他-狗仔队是也！

Spider out of the Cave
Im suffering from what is widely known as the pre-exams-gan-chiong-spider syndrome. Nervous and couldnt sleep very well.

Vier..opening to Drei
Viester paper is over! 'Fear' is over. haha.. for people who knows german, u'll know what i mean. Vier is pronounced as Fear. And it basically means 4.
Did 2 really stupid things today. Promise not to laugh.
1) Buoyancy+ Weight = Resistance!
-Any Sec school or jc physics student will be able to tell whats wrong=p
2) In a mad dash to the toilet, I left my entire file of notes/tutorials in the hall. Luckily the paper is over already. Because by the time I went back, the hall was locked. ~Phew~ luckily i forgot to bring my notes for other subjects to mug on the way.
Ok. 4papers down to THREE~~
Need to spend some time studying for monday's paper since I have alot left to cover.

Snowball Rolling... Ready.. Get set...
Tomorrow the ball starts rolling.
Its the only no open book no cheatsheet exam and hopefully the prof will be nice and REALLY provide ALL necessary formulas. If not im going to be so dead.
Its really about 11 days to the end of all these. Hang in there.
Am really catching up on my sleep recently. Been sleeping an average of 10hrs every night. Thats like quite amazing yea. Even my eye bags and dark eye circles are gone=)
Alright, counting down starts tomorrow! Im taking back all the luck that I loan out in the past!
p.s. people who are free, can help me wish that only what I know comes out yea.

Wonder Dad
I have a wonder dad.
For 17years, he buys breakfast, walks me to school, carries my school bag, fetches me from the mrt when its late. He cooks on weekends, iron the clothes, vacuum the house, mops the floor. He works to bring home the bacon, he entertains me when im bored. He introduces me to Chinese novels. He watches tv programme with me. And he tells me stories from his past. He plans for my SEP and saved up bit by bit to give me whatever help I need. He gave me extra money to go on holiday trip to Taiwan.
And today, he made fresh orange juice because i didnt want to eat fresh fruits.
Felt like tearing.
Like I say, I have a wonder dad. Feeling really fortunate and just want everyone to know that I really really love my dad.

'Holidays'
Last day of school today. Having concluded my 4th semester of undergraduate life (carefully overlooking the looming exams), i really think that time flies. Had a test today. A MID TERM test on the LAST day of school. Its a paper headed straight for a C or even D due to some self-tangling-confusing mechanism inbuilt. But thinking about it is neither here nor there now. so yup.
Met pin for lunch as she is flying to Shanghai for her internship on the 26th April. Had vietnamese food. There is really alot of good food around bugis. Those streets behind Parco. Will strongly recommend people to go explore that place=) Especially the nutella pie at the toy musuem. hee.
Even as im typing this, I can feel the lack of energy and excitement in my words. Was bored and reading some of my old entries and there was this stark difference in how I feel when I type my entries. Age is indeed catching up. haha.
Perhaps its the mastery at pulling off a facade, one that took the place of sincerity. Smiling when you are supposed to, Ra-rahing when its expected. Its back to the I-don't-feel-a-thing-but-im-not-letting-you-know kinda feeling again. The friends that Im sincere with are really, by far, few. Maybe im just not a good person.
But anyway, having admited to my crimes earlier, gonna have to start afresh with a new mindset. Lets witness the power of self-psycho-ing. Not exactly into my lalala-mood yet, but just not going to dwell too much and work on getting the energy up! Take a deep breathe and here we go..
Alright, exams schedule is out as usual, something in red to scare anyone who is reading this:
26th April (PM) - Cyanide model: 3124 aka Uddin-Aladdin-mod
28th April (Evening) - Cyanide model: 2125 aka Chiwawa
3rd May (AM) - DSC 2006
5th May (AM) - Cyanide model: 2116, the i-have-no-idea-what-is-happening mod

Visiting Museum/playing pool/Learning social dance with glad and miao*/Cooking classes*
*subjected to availability=p
High budget module: HB1003- things that u can do if u strike lottery
Holiday-ing to Korea/ Hairstyling Nitec class/ Lyric writing course/ Proper German classes
Oooo. anyone interested to accompany me to look look at the supreme court when there is a ongoing case? Interested to see how the things work=p
Oh. and Zhi Hui, remember to treat. Still waiting for PD treat.
We must set out priorities right and start looking forward to the start of the hols proper!

A night at Fullerton
Had a sumptious meal over at FULLERTON hotel yesterday. haha.. how lucky is that!! courtesy of Dr Sharan, one of the panel chairs of BioBiz, we were fortunate enough to eat there with some big shots even though they probably know us as 'NUS Students'=p
It was a Biomedical Asia Industry Awards and Gala Dinner. Tickets went for $165 each. haha.. was there in blazar and stuff and everything looks kinda fascinating. Im sure it'll be more fun if im rich enough to stay there for a couple of days=p
Not so concerned with networking and stuff yet. Got an internship for this hols alr and not gonna graduate in 3 years time. haha.. maybe find an internship for nxt yr's hols? heh.
The food was great. Under some seemingly common dishes are their efforts to make the food worth the money. This thing that looks like wanton is actually made of cheese(the skin) and a unique mushroom paste. The usual. I mean its the 5 course western food. Gotta comment that the fine dinning kinda bread that they serve for the first course is so good i think i'll be satisfied to just eat that. haha.. im a bread fanatic=D
oh. and that im really grateful that i learnt fine dinning etiquette in school=)
hmm.. HMM.. and this is a declaration. I'll not touch any more alcoholic drinks in my entire life again. Well, other than maybe 花雕酒and 绍兴酒. No beer no wine. The smell of wine (red and white included) close up made me cringe. And just a tiny drop left a bitter after taste that im afraid i REALLY have NO talent in appreciating. I tried like 0.5mm^3 of each, interpolating based on the fact that 2 titration drops is 1mm^3. haha.. there goes my great plan at being able to act high class in the future yea. No wine appreciation course for me. To sum that up, its: YUCKS.
haha.. that was a little side note. Felt really fortunate to attend such grand event and meet some really funny people=) appreciate everything.

Mini-Update
Just ended 3 projects yesterday. Yet, I do not feel the sense of relief or anything like that. Was kept in a daze for the entire day because of a severe lack of sleep. I psychoed myself that what I had was a nap and not a 'good-night kinda sleep'. This is to keep me from feeling too bad abt not being able to slp. Glad commented: you are really different when u sleep and when u don't. True.
Anyway, submitted 3 reports and concluded one presentation. Finally had lunch with my DSC group mates. Of course, I eat with Glad all the time, but yea. I meant Sam John and Vivien. And YES, I know that Sam is not my TKD senior. i got messed up initailly. Its supposed to be JOHN yea. haha.. how bad I am with names I knew since JC time. Not that I dont make en effort to remember. I do. But matching names to faces just wasnt programmed into my brain.
Oh yea. Just a side note, exams starting in 2 weeks and i havent touch a single word on my notes yet. 26th April - 5th May.
Got an internship doing EQHS and ISO audit from 8th May - 30th July.
And finally got a reply from UCSB. hmm.. likely to go on exchange to California. heh heh. still doing mapping, but shld be no problem le ba. haha.. meaning mid September- End Dec in California! hee. I don't mind people mailing my 21st bday present over=) haha..

Jigsaw
I know that I still owe alot of pictures and missed alot of updates. But until I can make myself feel like ONE PIECE again, i'll say goodbye for a while. My limbs and my body and even my stomach feels detached from my eyes. Thats the only part that is awake.
