The past-on of a very dear friend is hard to accept.
Many people lose themselves in their attempt to stay afloat of their daily routine, expectations to succeed, fulfilment of duties as a parent/child/subordinate/boss and all the chores that they may think define their acheivements in life. Some simply drown in them.
With the shock came the recalibration of priorities and the realization of how important it is to look beyond our tiny, restraining sphere. Work does not define your worth, neither does a single person's opinion of you/a presentation went bad/a colleague you simply could not work with. Worthiness is worth alot more dimensions.
Contribute more to the society around you and draw your worth from these dimensions. Lead a colourful life and walk a journey of "talkability".
Dear friend, thank you for pulling me out of the slums of depression. It had been my pleasure to have known you.
